RECIPE DEVELOPMENT/ FOOD WRITING
I began writing recipes at Ladies Home Journal in NYC where I was lucky enough to be hired as a recipe tester after a brief training by the head of the kitchen. This led to me working at Food and Wine for five years and simultaneously I freelanced at Fine Cooking, Cooking Light and Vegetarian Times. My food pieces were cover stories in a number of issues and I have been writing about food and developing recipes very since.
Recently I have regularly contributed to Costco Connection and two publications based in Raleigh, NC. Walter magazine and the News and Observer.
