In the public cooking classes Amanda teaches novices as well as experienced cooks. The classes are open to the public and are hands-on at Chefmakers and The Magical Kitchen and demonstration only at Williams Sonoma.

The menus are developed by Amanda and include many cuisines from Thai to Moroccan. The hands-on classes involve the students for one to two hours with knife skills, cooking techniques and simple baking included. At the end of the cooking period a complete meal is enjoyed by all. You will be provided with a knife, apron and cutting board. It is best to wear comfortable shoes and bring your appetite!

For the demonstration classes Amanda will go over each recipe before cooking and then will show the class one recipe at a time answering all questions as the food is prepared. There are generally five recipes and the students will enjoy a complete tasting at the end of the class. Recipes will be provided for you to take home.

Amanda teaches all over the Southern California area.  Contact her for more information about private cooking classes. She is available for classes from one to fifteen people. All you need is a kitchen, a cutting board and an apron. Amanda will bring the knowledge and the skills to make your experience enjoyable and informative.
