How would creating a delicious meal benefit your company, employees and clients?

With culinary team building, everyone contributes although the experience is different enough from day-to-day activities to allow participants to find new ways to communicate and work together. Whether participants are novice cooks or considered gourmet chefs, talents shine in ways that might otherwise go unnoticed. When you bring people together and enjoy cooking as a team building activity strengths surface and become the foundation for further growth, for individuals as well as the team. Most team building cooking classes are in the greater North Carolina area.

Ongoing Team Building and Wellness Program Classes
This is a four week cooking class series.

We meet on site weekly in your company cafeteria or kitchen. The purpose of this series is to build culinary skills and learn more in depth how to put a meal together with the focus on health and wellness.

Amanda has been teaching these hands-on classes at Guess Incorporated for over three years. Their very popular Wellness program enrolls employees who are interested in learning about a healthier lifestyle.

The series includes tips on shopping for food, preparing meals ahead, cooking with fresh herbs and reducing the fat in your meals. The program can be set up in any cafeteria kitchen with equipment that is purchased once in the beginning of the series and then stored in between sessions.

About Your Chef
Amanda began teaching corporate team building classes at ICE in Manhattan on the mid nineties. She then brought these events to Los Angeles where her clients included; Toyota, Korn Ferry International, Google, Yahoo, Hugo Boss and Exxon Mobil to name a few. She has relocated to North Carolina where she is available for a variety of team classes.

About The Experience
With Chef Amanda’s hands-on cooking events the fun begins when they walk in the door; our staff have an appetizer prepared for you, a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage is available and you get the time to relax before being briefed on your menu and group assignments. The culinary team building group is arranged into small teams with an assistant chef at each table and the recipes are prepared with the entire group participating.

Adding A Competitive Edge To Cooking
Many team building groups prefer a competitive edge to their class which can be pre-arranged with Chef Amanda. Iron Chef competitions are very popular and companies often choose to offer a prize for the winner of the event.
