I have a wide variety of my own cooking classes in Los Angeles which are offered on the West side. A complete meal is served with wine at the end of each class and all classes are hands-on. I teach at one location outside of West L.A. which is listed under Group Cooking Classes; for these cooking classes you register directly through the location shown.

Technique One - Fine Cooking Series:

I have brought the highly successful Technique series from ICE in Manhattan to Los Angeles. This is the best all around technique series ever - which I taught for fifteen years in New York.

The 5 classes will cover all your basic skills including knife use, sauteing, braising, simple sauces and dressings as well as classic desserts such as souffles, mousse and flambeed fruit. To register you must be available for all five classes and are required to bring your own chef's knife. Details will be included in your registration email.

Technique Two - Fine Cooking Series:

I am happy to announce the long awaited Techniques Two. In order to attend this class you are required to have attended Tech One or I can judge on a person to person basis if you are ready for Tech Two. Please email me if you are in this category. It will cover International dishes of many varieties of protein, a class on the preparation of eggs, sauces, healthy menus and cooking without recipes.

CANCELLATON POLICY:
If you cannot attend a class, you must cancel 48 hours in advance to receive credit towards a new class. You may send someone to take your place if you cannot attend and it is too late to cancel. You will have one year to use your credit towards another class.

Class Description:
My cooking classes combine techniques and ethnic flavors to bring you an experience of world cuisine. Taught in Los Angeles; I developed all the recipes to offer students a chance to try foods from many of the countries I have traveled to. Some of the cultures represented are; India, Morocco, Italy, Jamaica and Thailand. All of the classes are hands-on and include a complete meal with wine after the class. The group is comprised of a wide range of students from all backgrounds and ages. My youngest student was nine years old and my eldest eighty- so everyone is welcome. The classes are taught in one location on the West side; Surfas Restaurant Supply in Culver City. There is plenty of free parking and a 10% discount is offered to students at Surfas. Join us for a fun and delicious class where you are sure to enjoy cooking, learning and dining.
